Step 1: When light strikes the photo-voltaic (PV) cell, a certain portion of it is absorbed within the semiconductor material.
Step 2: The PV cell has one or magnetic fields to force electrons freed by light adsorption to flow in a certain direction. Thus this generates electricity.
Step 3: The Electricity is then charged in a battery system, and/or an inverter.
Step 4: The electricity is now ready to be used.
